Public Relations Committee Team Member
Description/Responsibilities
This job needs someone who can do some or all of the following:
- review and post activities information to our membership in a PR voice, via email and web.
- send out press releases to publications
- compose flyers for programs and eventsbrainstorm ways to promote the STC Boston to the local business and academic community>
- help buy mailing lists and send out our business card sized brochure to local businesses
Skills/Experience
All skills are nice to have but not all are required.
- marketing writing
- creativity
- campaign management
- eye for design
- people skills
- PR experience
Time Commitment
Minimum: Two hours every three weeks.

We need people who can commit to small but important jobs like writing press releases and editing and forwarding communications from the Council and committee heads. These tasks will be monthly for the most part, but the more you can add, the more successful we will be.
