Chapter Competitions
Entry Fees
This year, the fees for an entry are:
- $70 if any of the entrants is an STC member
- $85 per entry for non-members
You may submit as many entries as you like. All entry fees must
be postmarked by the Deadline for Entries shown in Dates
and Locations for the competition you are entering.
Your entry fee entitles you to list three contributors. If you
win an award and later wish to recognize more contributors, you will have the
opportunity to do so for a nominal fee.
Winners of the STC-Boston/Northern New England competitions
Distinguished awards have the option to advance their entries to the International
Competition for entries from around the world. This entails an additional entry
fee of $125.
Paying by PayPal
When you register an entry, you can pay online using your PayPal
account. If you submit multiple entries, you will have to submit payment for
each entry separately as you complete the online registration form.
Not familiar with PayPal? The STC-Boston chapter accepts Visa,
Master Card, Discover, and American Express payments using PayPal, an Internet
credit card service. To use this service, you will need to create an account
with PayPal by visiting PayPal's
web site. Once you arrive at their web site, you can create an account by
clicking the Sign Up button at the top of the page.
Also, when creating an account, please supply an address to Paypal. We will
not accept payment without an address.
Paying by PayPal After Submitting Entries
If you submit your entries and select to pay by check, but later
decide to pay by credit card, you can do this by going directly to the PayPal
site. This is also an alternative to paying for each entry separately, if you
want to be able to pay for them all at once.
- Go to the PayPal
site.
- Log in to your account.
If you don't have an account create one.
- Click the Send Money tab.
- Complete the fields as follows:
Recipient's Email or Phone: webmaster@stcboston.org
Amount: <amount sending>
Currency: U.S. Dollars
Category of Purchase: Goods (Other)
Email Subject: competition payment
Note: <entry title(s)> and <entry number(s)>
- Complete the online procedure.
Paying by Check
After you register your entry online, you will receive an e-mail
confirmation message with a text attachment. If you want to pay by check, please
print a copy of the attachment to include in the envelope with your check.
If you submit multiple entries, you may pay for all entries
with a single check, even if they are in different competitions. Please include
one copy of the attachment for each of your entries.
Make the check out to "STC-Boston" and mail the entry
fee to:
